Phelps County, Mo. Route 8
This project consisted of grading, paving, and bridge over Dry Fork Creek. Total length of project was 0.49 miles. The scope of work was to build a new bridge just to the west of an existing bridge on Highway 8 along with paving the new alignment and placing 24,217 cubic yards of dirt. The new bridge consisted of four spans for a total length of 398 feet. The substructure included 6 drilled shafts and rocket sockets. 830 cubic yards were poured with 183,650 pounds of reinforcing steel. Construction started in February 2015 and the new bridge was open totraffic in September 2015.
